Quenq Vice City
About Quenq Vice City
Remember cruising around Vice City as Tommy Vercetti, stealing a fast car and somehow ending up with half the police force chasing you? Quenq Vice City brings that familiar 2002 crime adventure into the browser, giving you a way to play the classic game from a desktop without going through a huge installation first.
Back to Vice City
The game follows Tommy Vercetti as he tries to build his own criminal empire in a fictional version of 1986 Miami. The city is packed with things to do, but the main story is easy to follow. Look for the pink markers on the mini map and head there to begin story missions. Finishing these jobs brings money, opens up more of the game, and pushes Tommy further into the city’s criminal world.
Build Something Bigger
Money becomes much more useful as the story develops. Tommy can purchase properties such as the Malibu Club, Film Studio, and Car Showroom. These places come with their own missions. Get those jobs finished, and the property starts making money for you, giving Tommy another way to build his empire.
Trouble Finds Tommy Fast
Vice City rarely lets you stay out of trouble for long. Crimes raise your Wanted Level, starting with ordinary police at the lower stars and eventually bringing in SWAT, FBI agents, and even the military. A Pay 'N' Spray can clear the wanted level for $100, while hidden Police Badge icons can knock a star off your current level.
A Classic Made for the Browser
The Quenq version uses reverse-engineered reVC code and loads the game world as you play, avoiding a massive initial download. Progress can be kept through browser storage, and cheat codes can be entered directly from the keyboard.
It also supports modern browsers across desktop and mobile platforms, with widescreen and HD scaling that makes Vice City look much more at home on today's screens.
