At first glance, Among Us looks simple. A group of colorful astronauts boards a spaceship and prepares it for departure. Everyone appears to share the same goal, but appearances are rarely trustworthy. Hidden among the crew are one or more Impostors whose real mission is to eliminate everyone else before their identity is discovered quietly.

Life as a Crewmate

Playing as a Crewmate means staying productive while remaining alert. You'll spend most of your time moving between task locations, completing small jobs such as repairing wiring or transferring data. The work itself is easy; figuring out who can be trusted is much harder.

A sudden body report can instantly change the mood of a match. Conversations become investigations as players compare stories, point out suspicious behavior, and decide who should be ejected. Even after being eliminated, Crewmates can continue helping by finishing their remaining tasks as ghosts.

The Art of Being an Impostor

Winning as an Impostor requires patience and deception. Blending into the crowd is often more effective than acting aggressively. A clever Impostor pretends to complete tasks, creates confusion through sabotage, and strikes only when nobody is watching.

Vents provide quick escapes, while emergency events such as disabled lights or oxygen failures can separate the crew and create perfect opportunities.
