About Meccha Chameleon

Most hide-and-seek games ask you to find a good corner. Meccha Chameleon asks you to become part of the scenery. This online multiplayer game borrows the excitement of Prop Hunt but replaces props with colorful camouflage, creating tense and often hilarious matches where the smallest mistake can reveal a perfectly hidden player.

A Match Full of Surprises

Each game supports 2 to 10 players, split into Hiders and Seekers. Hiders begin with bright white bodies, so the first task is finding a suitable hiding place before the hunt begins. A paintbrush lets you color yourself, while the eyedropper copies the exact shade and texture from nearby surfaces. Blend into a brick wall, a wooden floor, or a painted pillar, then choose a pose that completes the illusion.

When the preparation time ends, the Seekers enter the map. They inspect every corner, searching for anything that looks slightly out of place. If they catch every Hider before the timer expires, the Seekers win. If even one Hider survives until the clock runs out, the hiding team takes the round. Players can also earn bonus points by staying in a Seeker's view without being discovered, rewarding those with nerves of steel.

Small Tricks Make a Big Difference

Accurate colors matter more than speed, so use the eyedropper instead of guessing. Stand close to the surface you're matching, since large shadows can give away your position. It also helps to test different poses rather than standing upright every round. Sometimes a crouched or reclining position fits the surroundings much better.

The post-match replay is worth watching as well. Seeing everyone's secret hiding spots often leads to the biggest laughs, proving that the smartest camouflage is sometimes hiding in plain sight.
