Flip or Fail
About Flip or Fail
Flip or Fail puts a parkour gymnast in some pretty unforgiving places. Instead of simply running through an obstacle course, you launch your character into the air and try to complete a set number of flips before landing safely on a small platform. It works in a browser on both computers and phones, so getting into a quick stunt attempt is easy.
The Jump Is Only Half the Battle
Each jump starts with a crouch. Hold for a while to build up momentum, then let go and watch your character take off. Once they're airborne, you can tuck into flips and change poses while falling. The tricky part comes near the ground. Release too late, and your gymnast may hit the platform sideways, bounce off an obstacle, or land flat on their face.
Eight Places to Test Your Nerve
The campaign takes you through eight urban locations, including The Court, Frontyard, The Site, and The Playground. Each map contains ten challenges, with later jumps demanding more height, tighter landings, and better timing. Finishing one challenge opens the next, giving you a steady reason to keep practicing.
Tricks Make Better Scores
As you progress, new aerial poses become available. The Knee Tuck, Pike, and Scissor each change the way your character moves through the air. Mixing them into a jump can increase your score, while consecutive clean landings build a useful multiplier.
Once Jump 10 of The Court is complete, Arcade Mode opens up. There are no normal campaign restrictions here, making it a good place to experiment and chase a high score.
In Flip or Fail, the difference between a brilliant stunt and an embarrassing tumble can come down to a split second.
